BioFuel Plants Hit Provisional Acceptance
BioFuel Energy Corp. announced today that both of its 115 million gallons a year ethanol plants had met Provisional Acceptance, the first step in their final commissioning. The plants began production in June and have been undergoing performance testing since then. Provisional Acceptance is the first of three tests required under the Company's turn-key construction contracts with TIC (The Industrial Company). To pass, the plants had to operate at or above design capacity for seven days while meeting specified quality, efficiency and environmental standards. With Provisional Acceptance, operational control of the plants passed to the Company from TIC. A punch list of required repairs has been agreed upon with TIC and is being addressed. Full completion of the facilities along with final testing required under the construction contracts should occur within sixty to ninety days. read more

Wallbridge Mining Company Limited has discovered mineralization within three target areas on their Rogers Creek copper-gold-molybdenum property, in south-western British Columbia approximately 40 kilometres south of Pemberton. The first two targets are defined within a 6 by 2 kilometre area of alteration and gold-copper mineralization with samples in quartz-sulphide veins returning up to 23.1 grams per tonne gold and 232 grams per tonne silver. The third target is defined by silt samples returning highly anomalous gold and silver values up to 2.3 grams per tonne gold and 436 ppb silver. NovaGold Sells Ambler Project and Early Stage Base Metal Properties to Mantra Mining For $20 Million in Shares
NovaGold Resources Inc. , today announced that it has reached a binding agreement to sell its interest in the Ambler Option Agreement, representing up to a 51% interest in the Ambler copper-zinc polymetallic project, along with its early stage base metal properties in Alaska for $20 million in common shares of Mantra Mining Inc. Under the agreement Mantra will issue 6.25 million common shares having a current market value of $10 million to NovaGold on closing of the transaction, with an additional 6.25 million common shares to be issued to NovaGold on or before 15 months from the date of closing. Mantra has also agreed to reimburse NovaGold for up to $2 million for all direct expenditures incurred by NovaGold on the Ambler Project from June 1, 2008 up to the date the transaction is closed. XXL Energy Corp. Announces Acquisitions in the Green River Basin
XXL Energy Corp. , announced today that it has completed two acquisitions of acreage (the "Acquisitions") in the Green River Basin of Wyoming. The Acquisitions were acquired in privately negotiated transactions from an arm's length publicly traded oil and gas company. Both of the Acquisitions included acreage that is contiguous to current acreage of the Company in the Greater Jade Area.
